A Session for Horse Lovers & Photographers

This experience is all about taking photographs and spending time around the horses.

Over two hours, you’ll have the opportunity to photograph horses in a natural setting, with time to explore different locations, work with the light and capture both posed and more spontaneous moments.

The session is suitable for photographers of all levels, whether you’re building your portfolio, practising your photography or simply looking for something different to photograph while in Essaouira.

How Your Session Unfolds

01 – Meet the horse

Meet the horses and your local guide before getting started. Take some time to get comfortable and look around the setting.

02 – Find the right setting

Move through the different areas around the location to find the best backgrounds and natural light.

03 – Start shooting

Photograph the horses at different angles and distances, with opportunities for both posed and natural shots.

04 – Take your time

There is time to experiment with compositions, movement and light rather than rushing from one shot to the next.

05 – Finish the session

Wrap up the shoot and spend a final few moments with the horse before leaving.

What to bring

Bring your camera, lenses and any other photography equipment you like to use. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
